The Short: From the WB11 home
page: The new agency of Gunn, Wyndham-Pryce and Chase -- or whatever they end up
calling themselves -- is steadily taking on clients, including a poor girl
who sprouted a third eye in the back of her head, but all that takes a
backseat when an old friend of Gunn's calls for help. It's a small world.
Anne (Wolfram & Hart's teen shelter client in "Blood Money") asks Gunn for
help with a strange police brutality problem in their old neighborhood.
Gunn tries to handle the situation himself, running into some of his old
gang, who are little bitter about his up-and-coming lifestyle. The plan
was to lure the cops into harassing them while one of them got the whole
thing on videotape as proof. Cordy and Wesley decide this idea had "bad"
written all over it and set out to stop him.
As expected, Gunn and his friends get harassed by a cop, but when Wesley
steps in to explain that Gunn wasn't doing anything wrong he gets shot --
the officer was then shot by one of Gunn's friends. They fled, chased by
police cars, back to the teen shelter.
Meanwhile, Angel's figured out that something's going on with L.A.'s finest
when a policeman stops him for no reason and tries to kill him. Funny, most
humans wouldn't stop talking after their heads have been taken off by an
agitated vampire. Knowing that the supernatural's had a hand in things,
Angel goes to Kate to tell her about the renegade cops.
Wesley's health was failing quickly and the shelter was being attacked by
undead officers on a mission -- it seemed there was no way to stop them.
Just in the nick of time, Angel finds the source "puppeteering" the
resurrected cops and shuts him down -- turned out he was just a police
captain trying to clean up the streets by any means necessary. Wesley made
it to the hospital in time, but when Angel stops by to check in on him
(trying to be unseen by the trio), Cordy confronts him, saying that they
don't need their old boss anymore. Chalk the guilt-factor up a notch...
Stephanie was bitten by an unknown demon, and the next morning grew an extra eye in the back of her head.
